Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD berbasis guided inquiry untuk meningkatkan practical skills dan pemahaman konsep IPA menurut dosen ahli dan guru IPA, 2) mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD hasil pengembangan, 3) mengetahui kemampuan LKPD berbasis guided inquiry untuk meningkatkan practical skills dan pemahaman konsep IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R & D dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) oleh Thiagarajan. Tahap Define dilakukan dengan analisis awal, analisis peserta didik, analisis tugas, analisis konsep, dan merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran. Tahap Design dilakukan dengan penyusunan instrumen, pemilihan media, pemilihan format, dan perancangan produk awal. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, lembar validasi LKPD IPA, lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan guided inquiry, lembar observasi practical skills, soal pretest dan posttest pemahaman konsep, serta lembar angket respon peserta didik. Tahap Develop dilakukan dengan peninjauan oleh dosen pembimbing, penilaian oleh dosen ahli dan guru IPA, serta uji coba produk pada 32 anak di kelas VII C SMP N 1 Minggir. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Tahap Disseminate hanya dilakukan secara terbatas, yaitu pada guru di SMP N 1 Minggir. Hasil penelitian ini berupa,1) Kelayakan LKPD IPA berbasis guided inquiry berdasarkan penilaian dosen ahli ditinjau dari syarat didaktif (skor 23.5, sangat baik), syarat konstruktif (skor 15,sangat baik), dan syarat teknis (skor 15, sangat baik), serta penilaian guru IPA ditinjau dari syarat didaktif (skor 25, sangat baik), syarat konstruktif skor 15, sangat baik), dan syarat teknis (skor 13, sangat baik). 2) LKPD hasil pengembangan mendapat respon baik dari peserta didik dengan skor 103.18, 3) LKPD yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan practical skills dengan persentase sebesar 85.42% kategori baik (B) dan pemahaman konsep IPA dengan gain score 0,42 kategori sedang. Kata kunci: LKPD, IPA, guided inquiry, practical skills, pemahaman konsep. The objectives of this study are: 1) determining the feasibility of student worksheet based on guided inquiry to improve practical skills and comprehension of science concept for students in junior high school, 2) determining the student response of student worksheet, 3) determining the ability of student worksheet based on guided inquiry to improve practical skills and comprehension of science concept for students in jumior high school. Design of this research was Research and Development (R&D) adapting 4D Model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) by Thiagarajan. Define stage was done by doing initial analysis, analysing the students, analysing the assignment, analysing the concept, and formulating the learning’s objectives. Design stage was done by arranging the instuments, choosing learning media, choosing the format, and designing the initial product. Instruments used in this research are student worksheet of science validation sheet, guided inquiry learning approach sheet, practical skills observation sheet, pre-test and post-test for comprehension of scince concept, and students’ responses questionnaires. The development stage was conducted by the supervisor review, assessment by the lecturer (expert) and science teacher, and product trial to 32 students in class VII C SMP N 1 Minggir. Data were analysed using qualitative and quantitative method. Dissemination stage was conducted limited only to teachers in SMP N 1 Minggir. The results were: 1)Student worksheet based on guided inquiry declared as feasible by lecturer from the terms of didactive (score 23.5, excellent), the terms of constructive (score 15, excellent), and technical terms (score 15, excellent) and feasible by science teacher from the term of didactive (score 25, excellent), the terms of constructive (score 15, excellent), and technical terms (score 13, excellent, 2) developen student worksheet get the good response from the student with score 103.18, 3) developed student worksheet can improve practical skills with percentage 85.42% categorised as good (B) and comprehension of science concept with gain score 0.42 categorised in moderate.
