The aim of the study is to describe the implementation of character education through nature-based learning in Public Elementary School Keputran 1 Yogyakarta. The research is a case study applying the qualitative approach. The unit of analysis is Public Elementary School Keputran 1 Yogyakarta. The subjects consist of the principal, teachers, employees, and students as informants, established using the purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through non- participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed by by following the steps of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The validity of data was obtained using the source and technique tiangulation. Data analysis used Miles & Huberman interactive model. The findings of this study are as follows. The implementation of character education at Public Elementary School Keputran 1 Yogyakarta is carried out through extracurricular programs, integration of subjects and school culture. The extracurricular programs in the forms of the activities of scouting, Al-Qur'an education program (TPA), English conversation, Yogyakarta style dancing, karawitan, pencak silat, mading, tilawatil Qur'an, language and literature, taberi (language, mathematics and science) and scientific work, drum band and futsal. The integration of character education in subjects is through three stages, namely planning, implementing, and evaluating learning that integrates character education. Integrating character education in school culture through physical artifacts and behavior, values and beliefs, and assumptions.
