Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) to develop an Android-based mobile learning “Fun Accounting” as a learning media of trade accounting. (2) to know the feasibility of Android-based mobile learning “Fun Accounting” as a learning media of trade accounting (3) to observe the student’s opinion regarding the Android-based mobile learning “Fun Accounting” as a learning media of trade accounting. This research was based on ADDIE development model which consisted of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation, but this research only concerned about the first four of the step. Test subject in this research and development are material expert, media expert, accounting teacher and student of class X SMK Negeri 1Yogyakarta as users of media. Data collection instrument used were questionnaire and intreview The result of this research shows that the mobile learning media is very feasible to use. This result is concluded from the fact that the material experts give 4.43 out of 5 score to the quality of the media which is fall in “Very Good” category and give the feasibility score 88.6% or “Very Feasible. The media experts on average give 4.53 out of 5 score to the quality and 90.6% to the feasibility. The accounting teachers give 4.23 score to the quality which means “Very Good” and 84.6% which can be translated as “Very Feasible”. The students give 4.20 score to the quality of the media which mean it falls to “Good” category. Most of the students perceius that the learning media is well packaged, have a good number of exercises, push their desire to know more about commercial accounting, add their knowledge regarding the subject, and motivate students in learning commercial accounting. Based on the guideline quality criteria, the overall of media is very good (A) and feasibility criteria, it is declared feasible. Keywords: Mobile Learning, Fun Accounting, Learning Media, ADDIE
