Abstract
This research is aimed at demonstrating the problems possessed by the students of Physical Health and Recreation Education Study Program of Faculty of Sport Science of Yogyakarta State University (FIK UNY) in odd semester in the academic year of 2001/2002. The research variables are the problems faced by the students. The present research is a survey study. The data were collected through the instruments of General Problem Revealing Device (General AUM). The populations involved in this study were the active students of physical health and recreation education study program of FIK UNY in the academic year of 2001/2002 and all of them were taken as the samples. There were 226 students participated in this study. The data were analyzed using percentages. The results show that the students in general, still had some problems which inhibited them in their study completion. The problems needed to be solved. The problems were personal problems, physical and health, social relations, economic and financial problems, carrier and work, education and study, religious problems, value and moral problems, young couple relationship and marriage problems, family problems, and the problems related to their spare time.
