Abstract
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MOTIVATIONS TO LEARN WITH A CLASS X STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT SUBJECTS OF THE PROCESSING PREPARATION SMK N 6 YOGYAKARTA By: NUR AMALIYA 11511247021 ABSTRACT This research aims to determine: 1) class X student motivation Processing Preparation Subjects at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta; 2) class X student achievement Conducting Preparation Processing Subjects at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta; 3) learning motivation relationships with student achievement class X Conducting Preparation Processing Subjects at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta. This study is a correlation study using a quantitative approach. The populations in this study were students of class X Catering Department SMK N 6 Yogyakarta. Sampling techniques using random sampling techniques and sample size in this study was determined by using Tables of Isaac and Michael, so the samples in this study were 84 students. Method of data collection is using questionnaires and tests. Test instrument using validity and reliability tests. Analysis using product moment correlation analysis with a significance level set at 5%. Based on this research can be concluded as follows: 1) class X student motivation Preparation Processing Subjects Conducting at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta in category sufficient as many as 57 students (67.9%), good category by 27 students (32.1%) , and (0.0%) in the low category; 2) class X student achievement Conducting Preparation Processing Subjects at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta in good category by 77 students (91.7%), sufficient as much as 7 student category (8, 3%) and (0.0%) in the low category, 3) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement of class X Conducting Preparation Processing Subjects at SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta, it is evident from the calculated value of r greater of r table (0.504> 0.213). Thus, there is a relationship of class X students' motivation to Conducting Preparation Processing Subjects at SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta. Keywords: Learning motivation, learning achievements
