Abstract

The aim of this research are to: 1) produce a reflective modul based on child friendly school which fulfill the eligibility criterias, and 2) to find out the effectiveness of the reflective modul based on child friendly school to improve the ecoliteracy and curiousity of the fifth grade elementary school in Tegalrejo Subdistrict. The method of this study was research and development (RnD) based on 10 steps developed by Borg & Gall. The subjects of this study were fifth grade elementary school students’s in Tegalrejo Subdistrict. The data were collected by using interview, observation, questionnaire and test. The data analysis techniques were the descriptive analysis, t-test and MANOVA. The study results show: 1) The reflective modul based on child friendly school that has fulfilled the eligibility criteria according to the validation by experts, and also teacher’s and student’s are included into feasible categories; 2) the reflective modul based on child friendly school is effective to improve students’ ecoliteracy skills and curiosity. Ecoliteracy skill and curiosity increased significantly based on MANOVA test with significance level of 0,000<0,05
