Abstract

The aims of this research are reveal: (1) the construct (2) the characteristics and (3) the measurement result of developed instrument for assessing the cooperative skills and physics cognitive learning achievement of high school students in outdoor learning models through local wisdom-based simulation. This development research used the development model assessment instruments according to Mardapi. The steps include: (1) designing the instrument specifications, (2) writing instruments, (3) reviewing instruments, (4) doing trial testing of the instruments, (5) analizing the instruments, (6) revising the instruments, (7) arranging the instruments, (8) doing measurement using the instruments, (9) interpreting the measurement results. The subjects of limited trial test using the cognitive skills learning achievement instrument consist of 480 grade XI students. The subjects of trial test using the instrument of cooperative skills consist of 31 grade XI students. The data collection technique ing observation sheets, self-assessment sheets, peer assessment sheets, and cognitive skills learning outcomes tests. Data analysis techniques to determine the construct of the instruments using SPSS 16. by looking at the KMO (Kaiser Meyer Olkin) and the eigen values > 1. Data analysis techniques to determine the characteristics of cooperative skills instruments using the Aiken V formula by looking at the content validity value and EduG software by looking at reliability. Data analysis technique to determine the characteristics of cognitive skills learning achievement using Aiken V, Quest Software, dan Parscale software by looking at the content validity, item fit, reliability, and difficulty. The construction of cooperative skills instruments measure five aspects there are: positive interdependence, promotive interaction, personal responsibility, interpersonal skills and group processin. The form of instruments developed were: observation, self-assessment, and peer assessment sheets. Each sheet consists of 10 items. While the construct of cognitive skills learning achievement assessment instrument are measure five aspects there are: remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, and evaluating. The form of the assessment instruments was two-tier multiple choice. The total assessment instruments developed were 50 items. Both assessment instruments are unidimensional. Cooperative skills assessment instruments are valid by content and the reliability values in a high categories. All items in the cognitive skills learning achievement assessment instrument are fit to PCM (Partial Credit Model). The estimate reliability is in high categories. The item difficulty is in good categories. Keywords: assessment instruments, cooperative skills, cognitive skills learning achievement, construct, characteristics.
