Abstract
Curriculum of 2013 was instructed to use in some schools in Indoneisa that are called pilot project school. It emphasizes scientific approach in all learning activities including in biology learning. Education department supervisor of Sleman regency investigated that some teachers have not understood about scientific approach. This information is similar with the observation result in some pilot project school in DIY that showed some teachers still felt difficult to make learning scenarios based on scientific approach. Biology learning kit that was designed by teacher was not appropriate with scientific approach concept. This matter pushed to do a research that aimed to develop biology learning kit based on scientific approach in senior high school in DIY. The kind of research method used Research & Development (R&D) and adapted from Borg&Gall. The result of these research showed biology learning kit was appropriate to use in learning activities based on validation result of expert judgments and biology teachers, and also main field test result in six school at four regency in DIY. At the end, the final products of this research were disseminated in some pilot project schools.
