Abstract
This research aims to describe the seven components of the English teachers’ teaching skill of junior high schools in North Lampung Regency. This research is a survey. The population was all English teachers of junior high schools and all students of junior high schools in North Lampung Regency. The sample was 123 English teachers and 1,230 students of junior high schools. The technique used to analyze the data was the quantitative descriptive analysis. The result showed that the English teachers of junior high schools in North Lampung had a good skill in assessing students’ progress, lesson management, and classroom climate and a very good skill in planning and preparation, lesson presentation, discipline, and reflection and evaluation
