Abstract

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM (KHM) AT ISLAMIC SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (MAN) GODEAN MAJOR OF CULINARY By: Nurul Farikhatir Rizkiyah NIM 11511249002 ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the implementation of learning program independent life skills which focused on: 1) the preparation of learning, 2) the implementation of learning, 3) evaluation of learning, 4) factors inhibiting and supporting factors in the implementation of the program skill culinary. The research was quantitative descriptive. Object of research was learning KHM program. Research subjects were 58 students of class XI and 1 teacher. The variable of this study was an independent variable, namely the implementation of learning programs at the MAN Godean. The data were collected by questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. The instrument validity was assessed by construct validity. Internal validity used formula of Product Moment Correlation. The reliability of the instrument used Cronbach Alpha formula. Data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The result showed that: 1) Preparation of learning: a) Preparation of teachers materials presented with KTSP of Senior High School and Local Excellence Based Education (PBKL). The was one teacher who graduated in Boga major for S1 and she has been a teacher for a year. b) Preparation of Students include: physic condition was 17,41 with very good category. The students interest was 73 with high category. 2) Implementation of Learning: a) Learning media was 24,66 with good category. Learning methods were 16,60 with quite good. Infrastructure conditions were 16,20 and both observation and questionnaires were support each other. 3) Evaluation of Learning used assessment, but in practice not fully pay attention about cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. Learning outcomes of students was 74,22. 4) Inhibiting factors: teacher had a difficulty in making RPP because she lack of experiences in teaching. Supporting factors: infrastructure was in conformity with the standars. Keywords: Program, Learning, KHM, Major Of Culinary
