Abstract

This research aims to know find out the planning, implementation, and evaluation of student development in the inclusive Junior High Schools at Patuk District Gunungkidul Regency. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data sources of this study are the Principal, Teachers and Guidance Counseling Teachers. Data collection techniques using interview techniques and study documentation. Data validity test is done by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The data analysis used an interactive model from Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that: (1) Planning for the development of students in the inclusive Junior High School at Patuk District is carried out at the beginning of each semester by taking into account the results of the assessment, the condition of students with special needs, students interests and talents, facilities and infrastructure, energy, cost and time. (2) Implementation of the student development program with special needs is carried out by paying more attention to students with special needs in order to have high mental and motivation to keep learning. Extracurricular activities are divided into two, namely compulsory extracurricular activities and optional extracurricular activities. The strategy for implementing student coaching is carried out through several activities, namely sending students to attend workshops and competition activities. (3) Evaluation for the development of students is carried out at the end of each semester through test and non-test techniques. The elements evaluated include student activeness, student achievement, barriers to activity as benchmarks for determining policies in the following academic year. Evaluation of the student development program between normal students and students with special needs, the assessment indicators are the same based on minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and the assessment process is the same. However, there are differences in the weight of the assessment given to students with special needs and normal students.
