Abstract

This study aims to: produce an assertive training counseling guide for individuals in SMA Negeri Yogyakarta because there is no assertive training counseling guide available in schools. This research is research and development using the Borg & Gall development model, which is carried out in seven stages: conducting preliminary research and data stages, planning, initial product development, initial testing, revision of early stage trials, field testing, and revision of trials. try the field. Data collection used a feasibility questionnaire for material experts, media experts, guidance and counseling teachers, and students' assertive behavior scale. The product trial design was carried out on one material expert and one media expert, and the field trial was carried out on thirteen guidance and counseling teachers. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative quantitative. This research resulted in: (1) individual technical counseling guidelines for assertive training to increase student assertiveness, consisting of: introduction, behavioristic approach, assertive nature, assertive training, implementation of assertive training techniques, lists, bibliography and documentation. (2) the guidance book of assertive training techniques counseling to increase student assertiveness can be categorized as "very feasible" with the final proportion value of 84.6%, the results obtained are validation results by material experts, namely with the category "very good", the proportion value is 78%, validation of media experts, namely with the category of "very good", the proportion value of 88.3%, the results of the field trials were limited to 3 guidance and counseling teachers, namely the category of "very good", the proportion value of 85.3%, and the results of the main field trials to 10 guidance and counseling teachers, namely with the category "very good" the proportion value of 87.1%.
