Abstract
This study aims to: 1) produce mobile learning products as a media for student career planning at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi. 2) knowing the effectiveness level of mobile learning as a media for student career planning at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi. This development research refers to the research and development (R&D) steps of Borg and Gall. The development cycle with 10 steps includes: research and information gathering, planning, initial product development, expert validation testing, initial field trials were 6 students, revision of initial field trials, main field trials were 12 students, revision of main field trials, operational field trials were 32 students, revision of operational field trials and final products. The collection of data an assessment questionnaire and planning scale. Selection of subjects based on purposive sampling technique. The validity of the instrument measured through expert judgment and reliability obtained a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.892 > 0.60. The instruments were given before and after reading the material through the application (pre-test and post- test). So that the results of the pre-test and post-test are known to get a score which is then interpreted in the form of a category. The results showed that (1) the resulting media was a career planning application using Adobe AIR for Android Version 0.1, (2) the resulting mobile learning according to experts is suitable for use as a medium for student career planning media, (3) effective mobile learning media on student career planning at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi.
