Abstract

This research is a descriptive quantitative research which is aimed to determine the correlation relationship between the use of Internet as a medium of learning with the TIK learning outcomes in SMA N 1 Purbalingga 2011/2012 school year. Population in this study were all students of XI grade as many as 354 students and 78 students were taken as sample by using technique proportional random sampling. The data collection in this study were using a questionnaire to obtain the variable of the Internet usage and using the test score documentation of TIK (ICT) to obtain ICT score outcome variables. To determine the validity of the questionnaire, it was tested by analysis of alpha test cronbach. Before analyzing thedata using the product moment to find out the hypothesis, normality and linearity were tested beforehand. The results of the analysis were done by product moment correlation (rxy) between Internet usage (X) with the score of TIK (ICT) of students of XI grade (Y) it was obtained by the correlation coefficient of 0.490 was included as low category. The value of P 0,000. the P<0.05 it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between the use of the Internet as a medium of learning with ICT learning outcomes of students XI grade SMAN 1 Purbalingga. key words : Use of the Internet, Learning Media, Learning Outcomes
