Abstract

This study aims to describe teacher efforts to develop creativity in making EGT and school efforts to develop teacher creativity in making EGT in Similar PAUD Unit (SPU) Mutiara Bunda RW 12, Karangasem, Gempol, Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman. The research is a descriptive qualitative. The research subjects is 1 principal and 7 teachers. The location of this research is a Similar PAUD Unit (SPU) Mutiara Bunda RW 12, Karangasem, Gempol, Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman. Data collection is conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of data using triangulation source and triangulation technique. The data analysis technique using the cresswell data analysis. The results of the research show that: (1) The teacher's efforts are made because of motivation, that is internal motivation and external motivation. Internal motivation that is the spirit of the teacher makes EGT and develops his creativity in making EGT, the demands of the teacher so the teacher must take the initiative in making EGT and looking for ideas from various sources. External motivation that is the motivation of the school principal, PAUD operational assistance used for EGT making activities, teacher’s enthusiasm after participating in the competition and getting 1 st place PAUD innovative Sleman district level in 2017, and a comparative study from other SPU. The teacher’s collaborates when designing and making EGT. (2) The school seeks to provide support in the form of supporting resources, namely financial subsidies and manuals, as well as giving verbal awards to teachers. Directing the principal to the teacher in making EGT, guiding and monitoring the design and making of EGT. School cooperation through the provision of EGT, cooperation between SPU through the PAUD association and comparative studies, and cooperation through the organization education and training with Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sleman. There is an evaluation of EGT making activities carried out by the school principal.
