Abstract
The research aims to find out: (1) The motivation state of kindergarten head in Wonosari subdistrict Klaten Regency, (2) The state competency of the head of kindergarten in Wonosari subdistrict Klaten Regency, (3) The productivity of work/school head of kindergarten in Wonosari subdistrict Klaten Regency, (4) The effect of work motivation and the competence of the headmaster to the performance of the Kindergarten school principal in Wonosari subdistrict The type of research used is quantitative research with a survey method. The population in this study is the entire head of kindergarten in Wonosari subdistrict Klaten Regency which is still active, namely 39 principal. Data collection techniques using poll methods. Test the validity of data using the validity test and reliability test using SPSS version 20 for Windows Help. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive statistical technique with a percentage and a double linear regression analysis technique. The results showed that: (1) The work of the school head of kindergarten in Wonosari subdistrict Klaten Regency is aggregated into a very high category with a percentage of 86%, (2) The competencies of kindergarten school principals in Wonosari subdistrict Klaten Regency in aggregate have a high working motivation with a percentage of 74%, (3) The performance of kindergarten school principal in Wonosari subdistrict Klaten Regency in the aggregate has a very high performance with a percentage of 87% , (4) there is a positive influence between the motivation of work and the competence of the school principal towards the performance of the school head in Wonosari District Klaten Regency, which is shown by the calculation result of fcalculate greater than Ftabel (16.993 > 3.26). The Total effective donation of both variables amounted to 48.6%. Effective donation of work motivation (X1) amounted to 28.34% and effective donation of principal competence (X2) by 20.26%. Of 51.4% influenced by other variables outside of this study.
