Abstract
The aims of this research is to know: (1) the supporting factors of library management in SMA N 1 Jetis, (2) the solution of the obstacles of the library management process at SMA N 1 Jetis. Type of this research is qualitative approach. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 Jetis. Sourcer of data in this research are head of the library, librarian, school principal and students. Data collection techniques in this research used interview, observation, and documentation. In this research, the data analysis model of Miles and Huberm is used for the data analysis-techniqu. The validity test in the research was based on the trustworthiness criteria using triangulation. The findings of this research are as follows: (1) the success factors of library management in SMA N 1 Jetis consist of internal factors and external factors. Internal factors of library management success include: (a) human resources, (b) library budget, (c) library collection, (d) infrastructure, (e) library services, (f) promotional activities and (g) library location. External factors of the success of library management in SMA N 1 Jetis include: (a) collaboration with other institutions, (b) library users, (c) the role of government, and (d) support of student guardians. Constraints faced in the process of library management in SMA N 1 Jetis include (a) the librarians' human resources are still lacking, (b) funds provided for library allocation are limited. (2) The solutions made in facing the library management process constraints at SMA N 1 Jetis include: (a) synergy with various sides, (b) determining the scale of priorities.
