Abstract
This study aims to: (1) develop a feasible interactive learning multimedia, and (2) reveal the effectiveness of the developed multimedia in improving concepts understanding and interests in learning mathematics of grade IV students of elementary schools.The research method used is research and development which refers to the ten steps developed by Borg and Gall. The trial subjects are grade IV students of elementary schools in Kotagede Sub-district. The data collection uses an interview guide, questionnaire, and test. The data analysis techniques used are the descriptive analysis, t-test, and MANOVA test. The results show that: (1) the developed interactive learning multimedia meets the eligibility criteria, and based on the validation of media experts and material experts it is in the appropriate category, and based on student responses and teacher responses it is in the very feasible category. (2) the developed multimedia is effective in improving students' concept understanding and learning interests, which significantly increases based on the MANOVA test at the significance level of (p) 0.000 ˂ (α) 0.05.
