Abstract

This study aims to see: 1) Determine whether or not there is a difference between the learning readiness of grade 1 SD students from the full day and half day Kindergarten alumni program in Jebres Surakarta. 2) Knowing whether there is a difference between the independent learning of grade 1 SD students from the full day kindergarten alumni program with half day in Jebres Surakarta. This research is a comparison. The population of this study was 10,435 grade I elementary school (SD) students in Jebres District. The sample technique used was to propose sampling in order to obtain a research sample of 385 students. Data interview techniques in this study were interviews and interviews. The data obtained are the results of the independence observation sheet, study readiness and interviews as supporting data. The data analysis technique for the observation sheet was non-parametric inferential statistics with the Whitney test model. Research interview data processing using data analysis techniques Bogdan & Biklen, which aims to determine the relationship between themes and get a more detailed understanding. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion that has been described, the following conclusions can be drawn. 1) There is a difference between the learning readiness of grade 1 elementary school students from the full day kindergarten alumni program with half day in Jebres Surakarta. 2) There is a difference between the independent learning of grade 1 elementary school students from the full day kindergarten alumni program with half day in Jebres Surakarta..
