Abstract

The effectiveness of PAUD (early childhood education) in their current online learning during pandemic has not run well. Teachers and parents have many obstacles in their experiences online. This study aims to review and evaluate the obstacles of online learning for early childhood in pandemic in Indonesia. The method of this study was a quantitative analysis used directly to portray the detail by conducting the survey of closed questions with a Likert scale and open questions. In this study, researchers used respondens network, so no requisite was a population and the total sample. The subject of this research was early childhood teachers and parents in Indonesia. The data was analyzed using a technique percentage and he criteria and score used Saifudin Azwar Scales. The result of this study indicates that many teacher constraints are in the sufficient category with a percentage of 45% and the average parental constraint is in the sufficient category with a percentage of 71%. This means that online learning for early childhood in the pandemic faces obstacles, especially for teachers and parents. This research is used by parents, teachers, and the government about the obstacles during the online learning process. Then, it can be used for the evaluation and how to handle it. The research also can be used as a reference to implement further studies.
