Abstract

This research aims to (1) produce interactive multimedia learning based on community economic activities that is feasible to improve attitude towards economic literacy, (2) to determin the effectiveness of interactive multimedia learning based on community economic activities to improve students' attitude towards economic literacy. The study was a research and develovment referring to the development model of Borg & Gall. The subjects of the preliminary field testing consisted of 10 students of SDN Lembur Situ. Samples of the main field testing consisted of 23 students of SDN Karapyak. The subjects of the operational field testing consisted of 40 students of SDN Panyingkiran 1, SDN Panyingkiran 2, and SDN Panyingkiran 3, divided into control class and experiment class. The data collection used observation guide, interview guide, expert validation scale, student respone questionnaire scale, teacher questionnaire scale, and student attitude towards economic literacy. The data were analyzed using a Independent Samples t Test with the significance level of 0.05. The results show that: the expert validation shows that the develoved multimedia was “feasible” to be used with the very good category. The result of the students and teachers responses in the preliminary field testing is “very good” category. The result of the students and teachers responses in the main field testing and operational field testing is “very good” category. The Independent Samples t Test result obtains sig (p) <0,05, which means that there is a significant effect of the ability to attitude towards economic literacy of students who carry out learning with multimedia learning based on community economic activities and who do not use it. Interactive multimedia learning based on community economic activities has significant effect toward attitude towards economic literacy.
