Abstract
The research in the manuscript of Sêrat Dongѐng Warni-warni and the text of Ratu ingkang Botên Adil contains eight research objectives. The objectives of the research were to: (1) describe the SDWW manuscript inventory, (2) describe SDWW manuscript description, (3) describe RBA text description, (4) make transcription of RBA text, 5) make transliteration of RBA text, (6) make edits of RBA text, (7) make translation of RBA text, and (8) discuss moral values in RBA text. This research use the method of philological research and descriptive research method. The method of philological research is used to RBA texts written with handwritten Javanese script. Descriptive research method used to describe the condition of the manuscript, explain the steps of philological research, and explain the contents of RBA text. The source of this research data are the SDWW manuscript and RBA text collection in the Library of Museum Sanabudaya Yogyakarta with the codex number PB C. 91. Data collection techniques in this research is using the step of philology research, that is inventory of manuscript, description of manuscript and text, text transcription, text transliteration, text editing, text translation, and analysis of text. Data analysis using descriptive analysis technique. The validity used is semantic validity. The reliability used are reliability of intrarater and interrater. The result of this research is to explain eight chapters. First, the results of the inventory manuscript of SDWW found 7 copies of the manuscript. Furthermore, the source of research data is the SDWW manuscript with the codex number PB C. 91 stored in the Library of Museum Sanabudaya Yogyakarta. Second, the results of the manuscript description of the condition is still good, the writing is still clear, and can be read. Third, the text description results explain three chapters, that is opening, content, and cover of RBA text. Fourth, make a transcription text to preserve this manuscript. Fifth, the transliteration of RBA text found 21 words that characterize of RBA text. Sixth, RBA text editing results found 15 words were edited and then written in critical apparatus. Seventh, the translation of RBA text found 3 words that became the translation notes. Eighth, the results discuss the contents of the RBA text found 3 moral values associated with human behavior against God, human beings against each other, and humans against himself.
