Abstract

The Rich Jogja Hotel merupakan perusahaan dengan mayoritas karyawan generasi milenial. Turnover intention menjadi hal yang sering dilakukan oleh karyawan generasi milenial. Salah satu prediktor turnover intention yaitu komitmen organisasi. Melalui fenomena tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan generasi milenial di The Rich Jogja Hotel. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan termasuk penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 152 karyawan yang bekerja pada The Rich Jogja Hotel. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 102 karyawan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel sampling accidental. Instrumen menggunakan skala psikologi komitmen organisasi dan turnover intention. Validitas data menggunakan validitas isi yang dilakukan oleh expert judgement. Reliabilitas data menggunakan koefisien reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach, koefisien pada variabel komitmen organisasi pada komponen afektif sebesar 0,903, normatif sebesar 0,853, dan keberlanjutan sebesar 0,866. Koefisien pada variabel turnover intention sebesar 0,972. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi berganda, diketahui bahwa: (1) komitmen organisasi berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention, dibuktikan dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 35,474 (p<0,05) dan sumbangan R2=52,1%, (2) komitmen afektif berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention, dibuktikan dengan nilai koefisien regresi -0,928, nilai t hitung -3,894 (p<0,05), dan sumbangan R2=21,3%, (3) komitmen normatif berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention, dengan nilai koefisien regresi -0,703, nilai t hitung -2,259 (p<0,05), dan sumbangan R2=9,3%, (4) komitmen keberlanjutan berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention, dengan nilai koefisien regresi -0,964, nilai t hitung -4,186 (p<0,05), dan sumbangan R2=21,5%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa komitmen organisasi (komitmen afektif, komitmen normatif, dan komitmen keberlanjutan) dapat memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention pada karyawan generasi milenial di perusahaan The Rich Jogja Hotel. Turnover intentions become something that is often done by millennial generation employees. One predictor of turnover intentions is organizational commitment. Through this phenomenon, this study aims to find out how organizational commitment to turnover intentions on millennial generation employees at The Rich Jogja Hotel. This research uses quantitative and includes ex-post facto research. The study population studied 152 employees who worked at The Rich Jogja Hotel. The research sample was conducted on 102 employees with accidental sampling techniques. The instrument uses a psychological scale of organizational commitment and turnover intentions. Data validity uses content validity which is done by expert judgment. Data reliability uses the Alpha Cronbach reliability coefficient, the coefficient on the variable organizational commitment on the affective component is 0.903, normative is 0.853, and sustainability is 0.866. The coefficient on the turnover intention variable is 0.972. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, it is recognized that: (1) organizational commitment is negatively related to turnover intentions, as evidenced by the calculated F value of 35.447 (p <0.05) and contribution R2 = 52.1%, (2) negative effective affective commitment on turnover intentions, evidenced by the regression coefficient value -0.928, the value of t count -3.894 (p <0.05), and the contribution R2 = 21.3%, (3) normative commitment of a negative relationship to turnover intention, with a regression coefficient value - 0.703, the calculated t-value of 2.259 (p <0.05), and the contribution of R2 = 9.3%, (4) negative sustainability commitment to turnover intention, with a regression coefficient of -0.964, the calculated t -4,186 (p <0 , 05), and the contribution R2 = 21.5%. Therefore, being able to cancel commitment commitments (affective commitments, normative commitments, and sustainability commitments) can have a negative influence on turnover intentions on millennial generation companies in the company The Rich Jogja Hotel.
