Abstract

This study aims at developing an Integrated Science-Based Science Practical Guide 2 for the students of Science Education Study Program; determining the improvement of the creativity of the students of Science Education Study Program after using the developed practical guide. The research method was Research and Development known as the Four D Model. Define phase included theory analysis, task analysis, and concept analysis. Design phase included media selection, format selection, and preliminary design. Develop phase included expert assessment and development testing. Disseminate phase included implementation in actual lectures and then observed all variables into development goals. The research product is an integrated science-based practical guide which can improve student’s creativity having characteristics i.e. a guide including 6 activities with 14 basic concepts which involve 6 basic concepts in chemistry, 4 basic concepts in biology, and 4 basic concepts in physics. The format for the practical guide developed include the title of the practicum, purposes, introduction to theories, equipment and materials, procedures, questions, and tasks. From testing results, it is found that the classical creativity is 72.3 with Good criteria. The improved creativity of medium category with the N-Gain value is 0.65.
