Abstract
The present study aims at developing evaluation instruments on softball skills on the basis of authentic assessments. This research and development were conducted in Yogyakarta State University. This study used the research and development design which was conducted to develop evaluation instruments on softball skills on the basis of authentic assessments. The results were evaluation instruments on softball skills on the basis of authentic assessments for the students of physical, health, and recreation education. The instruments were developed based on the authentic assessments which were conducted through observation.
