Abstract

In the current era of globalization, school organizations must make changes in a continuous and creative, to seek ideas and innovation by applying learning in the organization so that the school become learning organization (learning organization). To make the school a s learning organization, the teacher as the main character in the school needs to develop himself become a learner teacher. The learner teacher is a teacher who always learns and develops their potential and capacity as a professional teacher. The development of teacher capacity as a learner teacher can be done through the strategy of organizational learning in schools until the realization of the school as a learning organization. The implementation of organizational learning strategy in schoo ls can be done through three stages: (1) learning skill, (2) learning level, and (3) type of learning. In the context of learning organizations, schools need to apply organizational learning to improve the ability of teachers in schools to be learner teach ers. The success of schools in shaping learner teachers is largely determined by the ability of schools to develop their schools into learning organizations. The essence of a learning organization is learning. Only schools that want to develop their instit ution to become a learning organization, willing to learn and improve continuously will be a superior school.
