Abstract

This research aimed to improve Accounting Learning Activities through the Implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Type STAD With Mind Map in the class XI AK 4 Students of SMKN 2 Purworejo Academic Year 2016/2017. This research was a Class Action Research that implemented the past two cycles with the subject class XI AK 4 Students of SMKN 2 Purworejo academic year 2016/2017 that amounted to 32 students. Data collection techniques were the observation, field note, and documentation. Data analysis technique was quantitative data analysis with a percentage. This analysis was done by processing the score accounting learning activities, calculate the percentage of each indicator and average overall indicators, presents the data, and draw conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Type STAD With Mind Map can improve Accounting Learning Activities of Class XI AK 4 Students of SMKN 2 Purworejo Academic Year 2016/2017 as evidenced by an increase in scores on each of the indicators of Accounting Learning Activities from cycle I to cycle II, as well as an increase in average score Accounting Learning Activities from the cycle I of 72,44% to 90,63% in cycle II, or increased by 18,19%.
