Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa LKPD IPA berbasis guided inquiry tema “Transpor Nutrisi dan Fotosintesis” yang layak digunakan oleh peserta didik SMP kelas VIII. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan science process skills dan scientific attitude pengguna LKPD hasil pengembangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Tahap disseminate pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara terbatas. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar observasi science process skills, lembar pretest dan posttest, lembar observasi sikap ilmiah, angket sikap ilmiah, lembar validasi soal science process skills, dan lembar validasi LKPD. Produk pengembangan (LKPD) terlebih dahulu divalidasi oleh dua orang dosen ahli dan dua orang guru IPA sebelum digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian adalah 30 orang peserta didik kelas VIIIC SMPN 1 Mlati dengan objek penelitian berupa science process skills dan scientific attitude. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD IPA Guided Inquiry yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan nilai A (termasuk kategori sangat baik). Peningkatan science process skills berdasarkan penilaian tes termasuk kategori peningkatan tinggi. Sementara peningkatan science process skills berdasarkan hasil observasi termasuk kategori peningkatan sedang. Berdasarkan hasil pengisian angket, peningkatan scientific attitude peserta didik termasuk kategori peningkatan rendah. Sementara peningkatan scientific attitude peserta didik berdasarkan hasil observasi termasuk kategori peningkatan tinggi. Kata kunci: LKPD IPA, Guided Inquiry, Science Process Skills, Scientific Attitude This research aimed to produce science student worksheet based on guided inquiry theme "Transport of Nutrition and Photosynthesis" which was suitable for 8th grade students of Junior High School. This research also aimed to determine the improvement of science process skills and scientific attitude of the developed student worksheet users. This was Research and Development (R & D) research. It used 4-D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Disseminate stage in this research was done on a limited basis. The instruments used in this study included the science process skills observation sheets, the pre-test and post-test sheets, the scientific attitude observation sheet, the scientific attitude questionnaire, the validation sheet on the science process skills, and the student worksheet validation sheet. The development product (the student worksheet) was first validated by two expert lecturers and two science teachers before being used in learning. The subjects of the experiment were 30 students of class VIII C 1 Mlati Junior High School with the research objects in the form of science process skills and scientific attitude. Data obtained from this research were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the developed Guided Inquiry science student worksheet was feasible in learning with the value of A (very good category). The improvement of science process skills based on test assessment was high enhancement category. While the improvement of science process skill based on the observation was medium enhancement category. Based on the results of the questionnaires, the enhancement of students’ scientific attitude was low enhancement category. The enhancement of students’ scientific attitude based on the observation result was high enhancement category.
