Abstract
The Javanese in the south coastel area to the north coastel area gets difficulties leaving the world of ghost, mysterious. and the Kejawen mystical culture. Indeed, the Javanese in the mountain range and in the center of the city, there are many people who have the same tradition. Unfortunately, the ancestors's tradition is often disparage and less appreciate as an assets of unique culture. This research aims to give the understanding ethnographic analytic to word the world of ghost existence. Taking participant observation and in- depth interview to the informant snowballingly held the data collection. The research result describes the conviction to the world of ghost. mysterious, and Kejawen mystical culture in the south coastel area, happens because of a negotiation process of the spirit. This phenomenon is being done because there is a conviction that the spirit can give advantages and also calamity. The cemetery central of worship to the spirit is Kanjeng Ratu Kidul, as the Queen of the spirit in the south beach. That is why the people in the south coastal area make an approach to the spirit through Kejawen mystical tradition. These mystical tradition apparently attract tourists eventhough it hasn't been developed optimally yet. Among the mystical tradition which is still done by thefollowers are: (1) Labuhan. (2) Sedekah Laut, and (3) Ritual Magi in Gunung Lanang From the amount of ritual, apparently has a potential as the cultural tour package which is proper to be sold Because, generally the tourists will find, curious, and want to know circumstances which is not in plain view. Even though. all sorts of that ritual still need a process of making to be an interesting presented In this relation, the intensive assistance from certain people has been waited.
