Abstract
The application of Javanese etiquette as the realization of the behavioural education practised in the family setting can contribute to students' success while speaking Javanese pragmatically in taking the Oral Expression course. This implies that every family member has to be well-behaved and respect one another. Making it a habit to speak Javanese accompanied by the appropriate etiquette and good behaviour may encourage students to feel confident and comfortable when they speak Javanese with anyone in any situation. Being self-confident, thoughtful, comfortable, and respectful with one another are essential factors enabling one to livehappily in society.
