Abstract

Biological control for pest and Agriculture plant disease is more effective and benefit if compared with using p(!Sticide and chemistry insecticide. Using pesticide and chemistry insecticide was found to give negative effect for environment. HaNPV ;s natural enemies for Hclicoverpa armigera larvae that attack agriculture plant like corn, soybean and legumes. Helicoverpa armigera larvae also attack industrial plants such as cotton and tobacco. Variety of HaNPV has been produced / isolated as Asembagus. Bogor and Yogyakarta isolat. The effectiveness of HaNPV to control HaNPV depends on various factors. for example HaNPV isolat, concentration oJ virus, and radiation. This research examines about minimal concentration of HaNPV Yogyakarta isolates ana effectiveness of HaNPV to control H. amligera. Concentration of HaNPV 2 x ](1 PIBs/ml wasfound to be effectiw. to control H. armigera larvae. By this concentration. lethal percentage of larvae was 85 % (Biological contrOl standard).
