Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kelayakan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis Learning Cycle 7E dalam meningkatkan scientific literacy peserta didik berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli media, ahli materi, dan guru; (2) respon peserta didik terhadap lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis Learning Cycle 7E dalam meningkatkan scientific literacy; (3) tingkat/pencapaian scientific literacy peserta didik menggunakan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis Learning Cycle 7E. Pengembangan ini mengangkat tema “Bahaya Rokok bagi Pernapasan” sesuai dengan kurikulum KTSP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R & D dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa lembar validasi LKPD, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket respon peserta didik, dan soal pretest dan postest. Produk ini telah diujicobakan kepada 29 peserta didik kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 2 Gamping. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Analisis kualitatif berupa uraian saran dan skor penilaian dari semua validator yang sudah dikonversi menjadi skala 4. Analisis secara kuantitatif dengan perhitungan persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan ketercapaian peningkatan pemahaman menggunakan gain score. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) Kelayakan LKPD berbasis Learning Cycle 7E untuk meningkatkan scientific literacy peserta didik mendapat skor 14,37 dengan kategori sangat baik (A) menurut ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru IPA ditinjau dari aspek didaktik atau isi/materi, aspek konstruksi, dan aspek teknis; (2) Respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD berbasis Learning Cycle 7E untuk meningkatkan scientific literacy peserta didik melalui angket mendapat skor 17,52 dengan kategori sangat baik (A); (3) LKPD berbasis Learning Cycle 7E dapat meningkatkan scientific literacy peserta didik termasuk kategori sedang dengan nilai gain score sebesar 0,61. Kata kunci: LKPD, Learning Cycle 7E, Bahaya Rokok bagi Pernapasan, Scientific Literacy This research aims to know (1) the advisability of student worksheet based Learning Cycle 7E in improving scientific literacy learners based on assessment of media experts, material experts and teachers; (2) the respon of the student to student worksheet based Learning Cycle 7E in improving scientific literacy; (3) the level/the achievement of scientific literacy using student worksheet based Learning Cycle 7E. The develop remove theme “The Dangers of Smoking for Respiration” with curriculum KTSP. This research R & D with the model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The instrument used in this research is the validation student worksheet, learning observation sheet, questionnaires response student, and questions pretest and postest. This product has been tested to 29 student class VIII C SMP N 2 Gamping. Techniques analysis using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis is in the form of explanation suggestions and score the assessment of all validators that have been converted to a scale of 4. While the analysis quantitatively with the calculation of the percentage of learning and its achievements understanding improvement using the gain score. The research results obtained (1) Decency student worksheet based Learning Cycle 7E to increase the scientific literacy learners gained 14,37 score with very good category (A) according to the expert materials, media experts, and science teacher reviewed from Journalists teamt aspects or contents/material aspects of the construction and technical aspects; (2) The response student based- Learning Cycle 7E to increase the scientific literacy student through questionnaires get 17,52 score with very good category (A); (3) LKPD based Learning Cycle 7E can increase the scientific literacy student including category is with the value of the gain score of 0.61.
