family is-avery central place for students' education, where-certain other family members become role models and influence their psychological growth. The family condition becomes a determining factor of the success in their education at school and in society. Here the role of parents is highly significant. Whatever is obtained from the school and society will become meaningless when the family does not give support, motivation, and exemplary modeling. Optimum result of education could be achieved by harmonizing the roles of the agents of education. It needs sincere efforts through comprehensive research, commitment from each agent of education, collective awareness, and discussions by the agents of education to reformulate and reconstruct education so that a role map in the context of educational autonomy and curriculum implementation could be made. Educational autonomy and curriculum implementation could succeed well when there occurs a role harmonization among the three parties of agents of education. After the role mapping, each agent of education then involves itself in building up commitment, applying a cultural approach, constructing the school organization into a learning organization, applying a society-based curriculum, activating society's role, and strengthening the family's function by constructing it into a kind of madrasah (high-school-level religious educational institution). Without such a function, its educational function cannot succeed to the optimum.
