Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of height, arm length, muscle strength back to the shot put distance repulsion in class VII student of Junior High School District 4 Ngaglik. The subjects of this study were junior high school students in grade VII D N 4 Ngaglik, with the number of 36 students. Data retrieval using the test, with a Stadiometer instrument for measuring height, measuring tape to measure the length of the arms, back and leg dynamometer to measure the strength of back muscles, and bullets do to figure out range repulsion repulsion students. Techniques of data analysis using regression and correlation analysis, either simple or double, with the prerequisite test for normality,andlinearity The study results concluded that there is a relationship between height, arm length, muscle strength back to the shot put distance repulsion VII graders SMP N 4 Ngaglik. At the height there is a significant relationship to the distance repulsion, with a correlation coefficient of 0.693. Variable length of the arm there is a meaningful relationship with distance repulsion, with a correlation coefficient of 0.584. On the strength of back muscles also have a meaningful relationship with distance repulsion, with a correlation coefficient of 0.632. While simultaneously there is also a significant relationship between height, long arms, and back muscle strength with distance repulsion, which is 0.779. The donations given to the range repulsion height is 32.1%, the long arm of the 3.9% range repulsion, back muscle strength of the repulsion distance is 24.7% and the overall contribution of 60.7%.
