PERBEDAAN PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR ANTARA METODE JIGSAW DENGAN EVERYONE IS TEACHER HERE (ETH) THE DIFFERENCE INCREASE IN LEARNING OUTCOMES BETWEEN JIGSAW METHOD AND EVERYONE HERE IS TEACHER (ETH) Oleh: Nuri Handayani, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta nurihandayani1992@gmail.com Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang mendapat perlakuan metode Jigsaw pada pelajaran teknik elektronika di SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, (2) mengetahui peningakatan hasil belajar siswa yang mendapat perlakuan metode ETH pada pelajaran teknik elektronika di SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, (3) perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar antara siswa yang mendapat perlakuan metode Jigsaw dengan siswa yang mendapat perlakuan metode ETH, (4) mengetahui metode pembelajaran yang lebih cocok untuk pelajaran teknik elektronika di SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, antara metode jigsaw dengan ETH. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan Two Group, Pretest Posttest Design. Data yang dikumpulkan yaitu hasil belajar atau nilai pretest dan posttest. Analisis perbedaan peningkatan menggunakan uji t test, sedangkan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dapat dilihat melalui nilai gain. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa (1) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang mendapat perlakuan metode jigsaw masuk dalam kategori gain rendah, (2) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang mendapat perlakuan metode ETH masuk dalam kategori gain sedang, (3) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Teknik Elektronika antara siswa yang mendapat perlakuan metode jigsaw dengan siswa yang mendapat perlakuan metode ETH. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Teknik Elektronika dengan menggunakan metode ETH lebih tinggi dibanding dengan menggunakan metode jigsaw, (4) metode ETH lebih cocok diterapkan pada mata pelajaran Teknik Elektronika di SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Kata kunci: perbedaan hasil belajar, peningkatan hasil belajar, metode jigsaw, dan metode ETH Abstract This study aims to (1) knowning the increase of student learning outcomes that used Jigsaw method in electronics engineering subjects at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, (2) knowning the increase of student learning outcomes that used ETH in electronics engineering subjects at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta, (3) knowing the difference of learning outcomes between students who treated jigsaw method with students treated ETH method, (4) knowing which more suitable method between jigsaw or ETH for electronics engineering subjects in SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. The study used a quasi-experimental method with Two Group, Pretest Posttest Design. The data is learning outcomes or value of the pretest and posttest. Analysis of the differences increase test using the t test, whereas to determine the increasing of learning outcome can be seen through the gain value. The study results revealed that (1) student learning outcomes that used Jigsaw method classified in low gain category, (2) the student learning outcomes that used ETH classified in medium gain category, (3) there is a difference in improving learning outcomes in Electronics Engineering subjects among students who treated jigsaw method with students treated ETH method. Improved student learning outcomes in Electronics Engineering subjects by using ETH method higher than using the jigsaw method, (4) ETH method is more suitable to be applied to the subjects of Electronics Engineering at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta.
