Abstract
TEACHING METHOD JOBSHEET MEDIA INFLUENCE AND METHOD OF TEACHING MODEL PROJECT LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT PRACTICES IGNITION SYSTEM IN THE BATTERY INDUSTRY SMK YOGYAKARTA By: DWI RACHMAWAN 10504242005 This study aims to determine a method of learning better practices between teaching practice and teaching with jobsheet media practice model of learning achievement of the project to identify the practices of a battery ignition system on the subjects of the practice of assembling a battery ignition system on the engine stand. The research was carried out by the method of quasi-experimental or quasiexperiments. The population of this study were all students majoring in automotive engineering class XI Yogyakarta SMK INDUSTRY totaling 80 students are divided into three classes, the techniques used in determining the sample is purposive random sampling, where samples are randomly selected classes in drawing and the selected sample is the class B2 and B3 XI with a number of students in class XI B2 were 26 students and the number of students in class XI B3 as many as 28 students. Data collection techniques used in this study using the test. The validity of this instrument through the opinions of experts (Expert judgment). Prerequisite test analysis using the test for normality and homogeneity test. Data analysis technique used is the t-test model of one-party polled variants. For the analysis of the significance level was set at 5%. These results indicate that the initial conditions of the two classes leaving from the same starting point, this is evidenced by the initial data t test (pretest) which shows that the calculated t is smaller than t table (t Rh R: 0.29 < t RtR : 1.67) while the final data t test (posttest) there is no practical difference in student learning achievement significantly between classes with a learning experiment with jobsheet media and the control class project learning model with the results of the final data t test (posttest) showed that the calculated t is smaller than t table (t Rh R: 1.19 < t Rt R: 1.67) at significant level 5%. To prove hipoetsis seen from the results of one test calculation of the right-tail test with the results of the experimental class t count bigger than t table (t Rh R: 4.554 < t Rt R: 1.708) while the control class is obtained t count bigger than t table (t Rh R: 1 , 79 < t Rt R: 1.703) at significant level 5%. This suggests that student achievement is classroom teaching methods with media practices jobsheet higher student achievement than class teaching using the model of the project.
