Abstract
THE RELATIONS BETWEEN SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE AND UNDERSTANDING ENGINEERING DRAWING TOWARD ABILITY TO APPLY AUTOCAD OF GRADERS XI OF MACHINE ENGINEERING OF STATE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL 2 YOGYAKARTA By: Sapitri Januariyansah NIM 11503244024 ABSTRACT This study aimed to: (1) determine the relations of the spatial intelligence toward the ability to apply AutoCAD of graders XI of Machine Engineering of State Vocational School 2 Yogyakarta; (2) determine the relations between understanding engineering drawing to the ability to apply AutoCAD of Machine Engineering graders XI of State Vocational School 2 Yogyakarta; (3) determine the relations of spatial intelligence and understanding engineering drawing to the ability to Apply AutoCAD of graders XI of Mechanical Engineering in State Vocational School 2 Yogyakarta. The method of data collection for the study for variable of spatial intelligence and understanding engineering drawing used the test, while the method for the variable of ability to apply AutoCAD used tests and documentation. Analysis of data to test hypotheses 1 and 2 was the product moment correlation analysis, while to test analysis 3 multiple correlation analysis technique was used. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive and significant relation between spatial intelligence on the ability to apply AutoCAD of graders XI of Machine Engineering of State Vocational School 2 Yogyakarta which was indicated by the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.487, tcount (4.316)> ttable (2.0003); (2) there was a positive and significant relation between understanding engineering drawing to the ability to apply AutoCAD of Machine Engineering graders XI of State Vocational School 2 Yogyakarta indicated by the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.403, tcount value (4.311)> ttable t(2.0003); (3) there was a positive and significant relations between spatial intelligence and understanding engineering drawing together toward the ability to apply AutoCAD of Machine Engineering graders XI of State Vocational School 2 Yogyakarta indicated by multiple correlation coefficient of 0.529, double value Fcount (11.472)> Ftabel (3.15).
