Abstract
THE INFLUENCE OF PRINCIPAL’S SUPERVISION TO THE TEACHER PROFESSIONALISM AT SMK N 1 SEYEGAN by: BASRI GULTOM NIM 07505241008 ABSTRACT This study aimed at finding out weather there is an the influence of the Principal’s Supervising to Teacher Professionalism in SMK N 1 Seyegan, are not and to deter mine how much the influence Principal Supervising to the Professional Teacher at SMK N 1 Seyegan. This research is Expost Facto. The research was conducted at SMK N 1 Seyegan, it was started in March and ended in early May 2013. The sample in this study the data were cillected are teachers at SMK N 1 Seyegan, they are 74 teachers. Techniques using inferential statistical analysis techniques and simple regression analysis techniques with the help of a computer program SPSS 16.0. The results showed that: (1) There is the influence of the principal’s supervision influences to the professionalism SMK N 1 Seyegan. It is shown by a simple regression test that is smaller than the significance level ie 0.000 <0.05 and calculated F value is greater than F table (30.773> 4,00). R ² coefficient of 0.373 means that the variable is able to explain the supervision of the principal variables professionalism of teachers by 37.3%. (2) The Influence of Supervision is high to Principal Teacher Professionalism in SMK N 1 Seyegan. This is shown by the results of the regression analysis regression equation: Y = 30.773 + 0.553 X. Regression coefficient of 0.553 states that each additional scores or grades supervision can increase the value of the principal or teacher professionalism score of 0.553 at 30.773 constants. Constant mean score of 30.773 indicate when supervising principal variables considered zero or does not exist, then the score value the professionalism of teachers amounted to 30.773.
