Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was made to determine images reading and manual drawing practice achievement relationship to the achievement of CAD (Computer Aided Design) studies students of XIth class of mechanical machining in SMK N 3 Yogyakarta. This study is correlational research with ex post facto approach. Data were collected by using test and documentation. Analysis of data used descriptive and product moment corelation analysis. The result reveals that: (1) the achievement of image reading has a significant positive relationship to achievement CAD studies with contribution of correlation coefficient is 80.3%, (2) the achievement of manual drawing has a significant positive relationship to achievement CAD subjects with contribution of correlation coefficient is 61.3%, (3) the achievement of images reading and the achievement of manual images has a significant positive relationship towards achievement of CAD studies with contribution of correlation coefficient is 81.2%.
