Abstract
Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of work readiness and working motivation of class XII students on Machining Department SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan academic year 2013/2014. Data of this ex post facto research was taken by questionnaire. Hypothesis was tested using simple linear regression analysis after normality and linearity test at 5% significance level. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between the students' work readiness and working motivation as indicated by the regression equation Y = 52.069 + 0.372 X.
