Abstract

Abstract These research aimed at increasing learning achievement on mathematics at Mechanical Engineering Department SMKN 2 Depok Sleman. The XI grade students were subjected to this quasi-experimental study. Data were collected using a written test. T-test was used to determine improvement differences in learning outcomes of the control and experimental groups. The research result shows that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes on the control and experiment groups. The t-test analysis on post test score was 2,196 on 5% significance level that means tcalculated > ttable. It was proved that problem posing method improving mathematics learning achievement.
