Abstract

This research aims to increase activeness and achievement of measuring technology at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta by problem solving method. The subject of these classroom action research with Kemmis and Mc Taggart model were 30 students of X TP2 class. Data were collected using observation sheet and test that then analyzed qualitative descriptive. The research result shows that there was enhancement from cycle I to II. The average activity in first cycle increased in second cycle from 36,66% to 74,43%. Furthermore, the average score on first cycle was 70.40 with 53.33% students completed, on the second cycle became 82.13 with 90% students completed.
