Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to know the relationship between students’ internal-external factors and the interest to join in Vocational High School. This research is the ex post facto approach. The population was class X students of Mechanical Engineering Department, Vocational High School 2 Pengasih. The sample consisted of 96 students which determined by proportional random sampling. Data collection method used documentation and questionnaires. Data was analyzed using multiple correlation technique. The result shows that students’ internal and external factors have a positive and significant relationship with the interest to join vocational high school. It means the higher internal and external factors, the higher student’s interest to join vocational high school.
