Abstract

This research purpose is to determine the influence of vocational competence score and workplace information to students’ working interest at SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. This research was conducted by ex-post facto approach. Population was taken from 12th Grade students for academic year 2013/2014 as many as 140 students. One hundred students was obtained by by random sampling and slovin formula. Analysis technique used was descriptive analysis and regression. Hypothesis was examined by t-test. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence of vocational competence score and information workplace to working interest, which is indicated by regression coefficient of 0,316 and determinacy coefficient (R2) of 0,623 or 62,3%. The result of t-test obtained by Fcalculated 20,953 > 3,10.
