Abstract
Abstract The objective of this research is to detect the contribution of creativity and motivation on work readiness. The subjects of this ex-post facto research were all of XII grade students of Mechanical Engineering Department at Piri Vocational High School Sleman Yogyakarta. The research results shows that: (1) the contribution of work creativity on work readiness shows a correlation coefficient of 2.314 and the effective contribution of 17.950%. (2) the contributions of work motivation on work readiness shows a correlation coefficient of 3.009 and the effective contribution of 27.069%. (3) the contributions of creativity and work motivation simultanuously on work readiness shows a correlation coefficient of 5,893, determination coefficient (R2) of 45.700% and the effective contribution of 45,023%.
