Abstract

Implementation effect of think-pair-share method on mechanical engineering basic process (PDTM) learning outcomes has been investigated. This quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design research was done at SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan. Class X TPA was used as a control group while Class X TPC as an experimental group. Data collected through pretest-posttest score were analyzed by t-test. The experiment group mean score before and after treatment was 68,72 and 89,29 respectively, while the control group learning outcomes does not increase. Posttest score of control and experimental group was tcalculated =1,408 with df = 37 on erroneous level 0.05. T-test showed that there was improvement on mechanical engineering basic process learning outcomes after treated using think-pair-share method.
