Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship of engineering drawing achievement and manual drawing practice on CAD (Computer Aided Design) achievement in SMK N 3 Yogyakarta. The subjects of this correlational research with ex-post facto approach was class XI students machinery engineering department. Descriptive analysis and product moment correlation was used to analyze the data. The result shows that: (1) engineering drawing achievement has a significant positive relationship to CAD subjects achievement with correlation coefficient of 80.3%, (2 manual drawing achievement has a significant correlation to CAD achievement with correlation coefficient of 61.3%, (3) engineering drawing and manual drawing achievement have a significant correlation to CAD achievement with correlation coefficient of 81.2%.
