Abstract
Abstract The effect of visual apperception and learning interests on student achievement learning in the basic theory of turning process at SMK N 2 pengasih kulon progo were investigated. This was a quasi experimental design research. The research population are 62 students of Mechanical Engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih. Pretest and posttest data were analyzed using independent and dependent two-sample t-test. The result shows that there are no differences in student learning outcomes before treatment ( calculated=0.337< table=0.342), but there are significant effect of visual apperception on learning achievement ( calculated=0.451> table=0.342). However, there is an effect of learning interest on learning achievement ( calculated=0,709> table=0.342), but learning achievement of the experimental group is not increase after treatment ( calculated=0.129< table=0.342). Keywords: Visual Apperception , Interests Learning , Learning Achievement
