Abstract
This research is aimed at developing action learning media on the subjects of building construction, with the topic of wood construction. This research is classroom action research This action research process consisted of three cycles, each cycle there are four steps of action, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Data collection techniques used in the study of this action is the observation, interviews, classroom observations, and questionnaires. This research was conducted in class X of TKBB in state vocational high school 2 of Kebumen. Questionnaire used in step validation and assessment of the feasibility assessment by students. Problem pretest and posttest used to see the effect of the use of instructional media on student learning outcomes by using a gain score analysis. Based on the research results, we concluded that the implementation of the construction of learning by using interactive learning media adobe flash based can give a positive impact on students. Product instructional media used contains three essential material that comes with evaluation questions. The results showed an increase in the implementation posttest mean value in cycle 1, 2, and 3 respectively as follows, 78,47; 82,85; and 83,96. While the average total increase of 49.22 % posttest results. This shows that the media have a positive impact in improving student learning outcomes. While based on the analysis of the gain scores included in the medium category with a mean score of 0.57 acquisition gain.
