Abstract
The purpose of this study to evaluate the effectiveness of activities in House Training concrete work in improving the professional competence of teachers of State Vocational High School Building Engineering 2 Pengasih. Evaluation in House Training concrete work done at the level of the reaction (reaction level), and the level of learning (learning level).This type of research is an evaluation study with descriptive analysis method. The subjects of this study were teachers of State Vocational High School Building Engineering 2 pengasih, amounting to 18 teachers. This study used a questionnaire instrument (questionnaire) and the essay. Data collection method used is using questionnaires and post-test. In this study using quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques.Results obtained from the study are: (1) The level of satisfaction of trainees for the activities in House Training concrete work obtained a mean value of 46.17 ≥ 38.5, the excellent category prosesntase of 94.44% was obtained and the percentage obtained either category by 5.56%, (2) the effectiveness of learning in House Training concrete work in improving teacher competence Building Engineering State Vocational High School 2 Pengasih, obtained a mean value of 80.03 ≥ 70, the category of highly effective, effective and ineffective successively obtained percentage of 27.78%, 61.11% and 11.11%. Based on the results of this study concluded that (1) The level of satisfaction of the participants in House Training activities concrete work, included in the very good category, (2) the effectiveness of learning in House Training Concrete Work in improving teachers' competence profesioanl Building Engineering State Vocational High School 2 Pengasih, enter in the effective category.
